Evelyn Lam is a professional female singer in China. She has always loved singing and playing the piano since her childhood. Throughout the duration of her education, she was always a member of the school choirs and got various prizes in the School Music Festivals, including a soprano solo champion. She had vocal training with Mr. Weng Ke Qiang at the age of 15

In 1990, she entered a duet singing contest with Ken Suen organised by Fitto Entertainment Company and they got Silver. Her first album was released that same year and was awarded a Golden Disc.

She also sang for the theme song of Stephen Chow’s movie “Flirting Scholar” in 1993.

Evelyn has always been invited to grace various singing competitions, community events and award ceremonies with her presence as a guest, judge as well as emcee.

She possesses a wide range and a hybrid voice with both pop and classical style influences. She is also good at expressing sentimental emotions in her songs, as can be heard in this album. Evelyn gives a fresh take of these re-arranged songs while still keeping to the original mood of the songs. This album comprises of English songs from the 60’s to the 90’s such as “Danny Boy” and “Carrickfergus”.

This album was mastered by England Abbey Road Studio.
